The day we have cake!

Time flies when you are having fun, they said. Well, whoever this They person is, he must be right because another term in ITC Bintang Toastmasters Club has just passed in a blink of an eye! And indeed, we have had fun along the way.

We had our last meeting of the term on June 20. The attendance was encouraging as usual, with about 25 people in the room. To our delight, we had a lovely couple dressed in pink, all the way from Kazakhstan!

There was a lot more surprises for the evening. Our Immediate Past President Penny Chin, finally making an appearance after one whole year of being away in New Zealand. It was so good to have her back.

For the speeches, we had Table Topics with the theme of Award Night by the ever-creative Joshua Hui. Then we had an icebreaker speech from Isaac Wong, followed by an advanced speech from Gabriel Chong, explaining the mystery of the universe.

It ain't good if there ain't food, so what better way to end the day other than... with a cake!

Our deepest gratitude to President Robin Yap for leading us the way through the entire term. Also to all the exco members, for making it all happened!

There are more exciting things to look forward to in our upcoming term. Below in the picture, presenting to you our Immediate Past Area Governor Victor Lee, Area Governor Benny Ng, Immediate Past President Penny Chin, President Robin Yap, future President Tham Cinyee, and future Area Governor Melvin Tham! (I got my tongue twisted trying to announce all that.)
