6 April 2016 - Courtroom themed meeting

On 6 April 2016 evening, ITC Bintang Toastmasters Club happily and boldly experimented with a "Courtroom" themed Club meeting - The Battle of Pride and Prejudice.

Apart from our usual assignment speeches and evaluation session, the meeting saw members engaged in a 'hot' table topics legal battle between the "Plaintiff" team (Cherie Teng) represented by "lawyer" Robin Yap and the "Defence" team (Alvin) represented by "lawyer" Cinyee Tham.

The civil case was this: Cherie & Co sues Alvin & Co for breaching a contract to deliver cookies. The case is presided over by our "Judge" (Club Treasurer Lum Kok Kiong) and the verdict was decided by the "Jury" audience in Cherie's favour.  The price being the Famous Amos cookie on the lectern.
