All Good Things Come to End

All good things must come to an end. Having heard about the recent closure of 

GSC

Berjaya Times Square, a multitude of feelings surged in my heart. Reminiscing on the meeting that evening, which was part of my Toastmasters training journey, brings me the utmost satisfaction.
Have you ever attended a Toastmasters Club meeting in a cinema? Yes, you read it correctly! ITC Bintang Toastmasters Club managed to hold a meeting in GSC Berjaya Times Square before the CMCO in October 2020. This meeting is the first of its kind in Malaysia, probably in the whole wide world. We intended to provide our speakers with a different speaking experience. Certainly, it’s a whole new unique Toastmasters experience for our guests too. We had about 60 attendees that evening and the meeting was conducted with the strictest compliance of the SOP. 

I want to thank all the EXCO, members and guests who made this event a success. Most importantly, we want to thank GSC for hosting us. The coordination was meticulous and we have reached a fruitful outcome together. Hopefully, we can collaborate again in the future. Till then, goodbye GSC Berjaya Times Square and thank you for the fond memories.
