Ipoh Rendezvous 2015

Over the weekend 31 October and 1 November 2015, we had had an awesome and successful joint meeting with YMCA Ipoh Toastmasters, where two clubs meet & inspire each other.  Thank you to DTM Cheah Tong Kim, President of YMCA Ipoh Toastmasters for hosting us.

 

 

 

Alvin won Best Assignment Speaker for #cc10 (congrats to Alvin for achieving his Competent Communicator award and achieving his milestone of 10 speeches in his Toastmasters journey!)

Thanks for being a great audience, amazing role players and superwoman Lian See for d meeting agenda.

 

Our 2D1N gastronomical journey started as early as 5am on Saturday (and some on Fri afternoon) with 19 of us & 7 cars.

 

 

 

The trip filled our stomachs with the best kept secrets of Ipoh, including fluffy kaya puffs, egg tarts, white coffee & beansprouts white chicken with noodle soup, to name a few. (You should be there!)

In addition, we visited a welfare centre for disabled children in Ipoh.

 

 

THANKS TO MEMBERS OF ITC Bintang, we are proud to donate (*drumrolls*) RM1,500, detergents, food, necessities and old clothes, bringing smiles to those unfortunate.
