When did you join Toastmasters?

Why did you join Toastmasters?
I came to know about Toastmasters international 2 years earlier when I visited Indrahana TMC. In 1997, during the economic downturn, the market was very depressing and not much to do. So, to occupy the mind with something healthy, I joined ITC after visiting one time. 

Since joining Toastmasters, how have you grown as a communicator and leader?
TI has provided me the opportunity to learn event organising and the platform to try out new ideas.  

What do you like best about ITC Bintang Toastmasters Club?
The mixture of new and veteran, Malaysian and non Malaysian members which creates an interesting, well diversified environment for learning

What has been the highlight of your toastmaster journey?
Reaching District level for Humorous speech contest in 2011. It was such an exhilarating experience in speech development . And of course it was not possible without the support of members and area governor of that term. So I dedicate the achievement to the club's teamwork.

What do you tell your friends and family about Toastmasters?
The best investment of all time
